Core Service Agencies

A Core Service Agency is an agency designated by the Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse to provide core services within the agency's catchment area. Each county's Board of Commissioners must approve the Agency to be designated to provide these services.

The agency must be accredited by the Division in the areas of early intervention, outpatient services and prevention. Services must be provided to all residents in need of chemical dependency services regardless of race, sex, religion, disability or ability to pay.
