Detoxification

The clinically-managed detoxification program is a short-term residential program providing for the supervised withdrawal from alcohol or drugs of persons without known serious physical or immediate psychiatric complications. The program shall furnish temporary care, information, motivational counseling, evaluation, and referral and provide for the entry into the continuum of treatment services.
