Fees

The board has established the following fees for testing and licensure.

• Application for Licensure


Social Work Associate - $90.00
Social Worker - $130.00
Certified Social Worker - $170.00
Certified Social Worker-Private Independent Practice - $210.00


• Examination


All examinations are $200.00 for all four testing levels. Each reexamination is $200.00. After three failures, a new application and application fee must be submitted before you may retake the examination. Do not refer to the ASWB handbook. Mail all fees to the State Board.


• Renewal Fees (bi-annual)


Social Work Associate - $90.00
Social Worker - $130 .00
Certified Social Worker - $170.00
Certified Social Worker-Private Independent Practice - $210.00


• Late Fee for Renewing after the July 1 grace period deadline


Social Work Associate - $45.00
Social Worker - $65.00
Certified Social Worker - $85.00
Certified Social Worker-Private Independent Practice - $105.00


• Replacement license - $10.00 and a written request. Include copy of marriage certificate if applicable.
