The Developmental Disabilities Network in South Dakota is comprised of the Center for Disabilities, the South Dakota Council on Developmental Disabilities and South Dakota Advocacy Services.

The mission of the South Dakota Council on Developmental Disabilities is "to assist people with developmental disabilities to control their own destiny and to achieve the quality of life they desire."

Criminal Justice - Human Services Handbook Promote a better understanding between these systems when working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
South Dakota College of Direct Support Development and support of on-line training for direct support professionals within community-based settings and the South Dakota Developmental Center.
Partners in Policymaking Leadership and skill capacity building training for individuals with developmental disabilities and their family members.
Special Education Assist qualified students to achieve their right to appropriate evaluations, education and related services.
Housing Work to create opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to live in the community of their choice.

The Center for Disabilities, South Dakota Council on Developmental Disabilities and South Dakota Advocacy services are all programs supported by the Administration on Developmental Disabilities which is a program of the Administration for Children and Families which in turn is a program of the US Department of Health & Human Services.
