Gather information about your visual disability. Bringing this information with you can speed up
the process. (example, copies of eye reports)

You and your Counselor will develop a detailed plan of services available to help you achieve your
employment goal.
The time it takes for you to reach your employment goal depends upon your individual needs. Remember
that any person whose disability significantly interferes with their ability to get or keep a job, and
who needs vocational rehabilitation services to overcome these barriers to employment is eligible.

You and your Rehabilitation Teacher will establish your Independent Living Service Plan. Services
will be provided until all of your independent living goals have been achieved.

the family, community or employment, and who needs independent living services to overcome these
barriers is eligible.
