The South Dakota Rehabilitation Center for the Blind (SDRC) would like to invite any South Dakota residents, who have low vision or are blind, to participate in the upcoming October â€œFirst Fridayâ€ event to be held on October 6, and feature the following:
8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
- A.T. walk-in clinic; come when you are available during that time and have your assistive technology questions answered
by experienced staff.
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Must Register to Attend)
-Beginning O&M Skills
Practice and learn beginnerâ€™s orientation and mobility skills with Jen, including sighted guide and protective techniques.
