Course Description: The course is aimed at helping employees prevent lower back injuries by using good body mechanics and lifting techniques.
Be able to identify five basic principles of body mechanics
Be able to demonstrate safe lifting and transferring techniques
Demonstrate an awareness of proper handling, positioning, and pressure relief techniques
