long term services and supports

national core indicators

National Core Indicators-Aging and Disabilities (NCI-AD) is a collaborative initiative between the Division of Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS), ADvancing States, and the Human Services Research Institute (HSRI). The goal of NCI-AD is to assist states in assessing and analyzing the impact of services and supports available to individuals. NCI-AD aims to collect valid and reliable data that help states ascertain how publicly-funded services impact the qualify of life for older adults and individuals with physical disabilities. NCI-AD data helps inform quality improvement activities, strengthen LTSS policy, and compare South Dakota's performance against national statistics.
