Business Enterprise Program


The Business Enterprise Program (BEP) is a group of independent businesses that provide food service and vending services in public buildings and private industry. The purpose of the BEP is to provide opportunities for citizens who are legally blind to become independent and self-sufficient through the operation of a small business.

Eligibility Requirements:

Individuals who meet the definition of legal blindness, are US citizens, and demonstrate basic skills necessary to operate a small business.


Services Available

The BEP, in conjunction with Service to the Blind and Visually Impaired, provides training, professional management direction, and administrative support to the business operators.

Rest Area Remittance Form: The Rest Area Remit Form(s) shall be submitted monthly on or before the 20th day of the month, for sales in the preceding month.
